I worked as a 3D generalist and Level Artist on Innerspace, a solo adventure flying game from PolyKnight Games.
My responsibilities spanned a wide range, from 3D asset creation, integration, and polish for environments, hero assets, and airframes (the playable planes), to level and gameplay setup. For hero assets and airframes, I also handled much of the hard-surface rigging, animation, and VFX work.
I was also responsible for art performance optimization, with a focus on achieving stable framerate on Nintendo Switch. Using Unity Profiler, I optimized environments by reducing asset tri counts, implementing LODs, and separating elements to enable custom culling.
